SHAMANIC PRACTICE PERIOD

You can join for the entire month (Feb 1 - 28th) or two weeks (Feb 1 - 14th, or Feb 15 - 28th)
Practice Period (“Munay Wasi” - “the house of loving dwelling”) you return home to yourself. This is an intensive learning and personal reset period. Munay Wasi is the place of refuge and renewal where the shaman can replenish her vital life force in a safe setting. Imagine an eagle’s nest padded with the softest down where you are held under the wings of Spirit.
An intimate circle to expand your wisdom through silent forest meditation, ceremony, and contemplative writing, sketching, or stillness practice.
During this practice period, we will study the shamanic teachings of timelessness – the practices of infinity, and non-duality – and the perception of relative and absolute truth. Through daily meditation and evening ceremonies, we will explore these teachings as a community. Every morning begins with a nature walk, yoga, or movement. On some days, silent practice will be encouraged.
In this intimate circle, you can expand your wisdom through meditation, ceremonies, seminars, and study. There is free time to visit the forest, hike, write, or sit by the pool with your sketchbook. All meals are included and follow the Grow a New Body eating principles. As a community all participants will share in common work in the gardens or grounds and periods of rest, as we follow a contemplative retreat schedule.
This program is open only to students and graduates of The Four Winds, or by special invitation. Limited to 15 participants. Led by Four Winds senior faculty. Cost for the 28-day program is $4,900 and includes all meals and lodging (luxury safari tent- double occupancy, private bathroom.) The cost for 2 weeks is $2,500. Room upgrades are available.
